RPP Infra Projects Secures ₹80.98 Crore Water Infrastructure Contract in Chennai

The Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board has awarded RPP Infra Projects Ltd. an order valued at ₹80.98 crore. The recent achievement comes from new work, having been awarded a LoA (Letter of Acceptance) to enhance urban water infrastructure.

The project involves the total improvement of water supply in various places in Chennai. They were describing the building of underground water storage tanks and water distribution stations, and the laying out of the feeder mains in Areas I and V, as well as replacing existing PVC water mains, renewing checked-up plastic water pipelines, and anchoring the distribution mains of various caliber in some depots in Areas IV and V.

The Vada Chennai Valarchi Thittam is a comprehensive development plan by the Tamil Nadu government to improve urban infrastructure in the northern zones of Chennai. (MENAFN - The Peninsula) DOHA: The recent award of the Al Thumama Water Storage Reservoir project will significantly enhance water supply reliability and efficiency for the residents in the areas served, said a top official.

This new contract enhances RPP Infra Projects’ portfolio in the water infrastructure segment and supports its strategy to grow its footprint in Tamil Nadu. The company has experience with similar projects in the state and has demonstrated its ability to manage large water supply systems.

This contract will enable RPP Infra Projects to contribute to fulfilling the increasing need for a well-structured and efficient water distribution and management system in Chennai.
