Propel Industries Strengthens Electric Mining Push with New Tippers and Digital Solutions at Excon 2025

Propel Industries has taken a major step forward in India’s electric mining and construction equipment space with the unveiling of next generation electric tippers and mobility solutions at Excon 2025. The company introduced four new electric tipper models along with an in house developed digital connectivity platform and a comprehensive after sales service programme, aimed at improving uptime and long term operating efficiency for customers.

The newly launched electric tippers include the 90CED, 70CED, 560HEV X and the 470MEV Gen 2. These vehicles are designed to address the demanding requirements of mining and large scale construction operations, where productivity, safety and reliability are critical. With higher payload capacities, fast charging capabilities and advanced safety features, the new range strengthens Propel’s position in the electric heavy duty ecosystem.

Speaking at the launch, V Senthilkumar, Managing Director of Propel Industries, said the company’s focus remains on solving real world challenges faced by operators in harsh operating environments. He added that the new platforms are built around productivity, long term economics, safety and reliability, helping customers confidently adopt electric solutions for intensive applications.

Alongside the vehicles, Propel introduced Pulse.ev, a digital ecosystem developed specifically for electric mining and hauling operations. The platform offers real time vehicle health monitoring, energy consumption insights, predictive maintenance analytics and fleet optimisation tools for multi shift operations. This data driven approach is expected to help operators maximise asset utilisation and reduce unplanned downtime.

The company also launched Pro EV Care, a five tier service programme designed to offer predictable operating costs and lifecycle assurance for electric fleets. The modular service packages are backed by an uptime assurance programme and can be customised with on site support based on customer needs, ensuring higher availability and profitability.

Propel Industries highlighted its growing operational track record, noting that its electric trucks have already crossed over five lakh cumulative operating hours across mining, quarrying and waste management segments. With industry leading battery warranty coverage and proven field performance, the latest launches underline Propel’s commitment to accelerating India’s transition to clean, high productivity heavy duty mobility.
