

Prestige Group has officially inaugurated The Prestige City, Sarjapur, positioning it as a defining milestone in Bengaluru’s evolving urban landscape. Spread across more than 200 acres on Sarjapur Road in East Bengaluru, the flagship integrated township reflects the developer’s vision of creating self sufficient urban ecosystems that combine scale, planning and long term livability.
Designed as a next generation township, The Prestige City brings together residential, commercial and lifestyle components within a single master planned development. With a projected development area exceeding 14 million square feet, the project ranks among the largest mixed use townships ever launched in Bengaluru. Once fully completed, it is expected to accommodate over 7,700 families, offering a diverse mix of housing options and community focused infrastructure.
The township includes over 8,200 apartments across multiple premium towers, 149 luxury villas and 808 villa plots. Complementing the residential component is more than one million square feet of retail development, including a Forum Mall, along with extensive social and recreational amenities. Sports complexes, clubhouses, wellness zones and large landscaped open spaces have been planned to support a balanced lifestyle for residents across age groups.
Internal infrastructure has been a key focus of the project. The Prestige City features more than 10 kilometres of internal roadways, pedestrian friendly zones and intelligent traffic planning to ensure smooth movement within the township. Located on Sarjapur Road, one of Bengaluru’s fastest growing IT and residential corridors, the project enjoys strong connectivity to major employment hubs such as Sarjapur Bellandur, Marathahalli ORR and Whitefield.
Sustainability has been integrated into the core design of the township. Nearly 40 percent of the area has been reserved as open space, supported by rainwater harvesting systems, energy efficient building façades and lighting solutions. A comprehensive waste management system capable of handling over ten tonnes of waste daily has also been incorporated, along with electric vehicle charging facilities across residential zones.
With its emphasis on scale, connectivity and sustainable urban living, The Prestige City is expected to play a significant role in shaping the next phase of residential growth in East Bengaluru while reinforcing Prestige Group’s leadership in large format developments.
