Prestige Group has entered into a definitive agreement with Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited to co-brand and upgrade the Bellandur Metro Station on the Outer Ring Road corridor of Phase 2A. The partnership marks a significant step in integrating private sector participation with Bengaluru’s expanding metro infrastructure.

Under the agreement, Prestige Beta Projects Private Limited will invest Rs 115 crore, excluding GST, towards station upgrades, infrastructure enhancements, and long-term partnership rights under a 30-year concession period. The station will be co-branded as Prestige Bellandur Metro Station once commercial operations commence.

The collaboration grants Prestige exclusive naming rights for three decades, 3,000 square feet of commercial space within the station premises, and 1,000 square feet of interior advertising rights. The agreement also includes provisions for a future elevated pedestrian connectivity bridge linking the station directly to Prestige Lakeshore Drive, subject to regulatory approvals.

As part of the arrangement, Prestige will undertake station modernisation, interior finishing works, and commuter-focused enhancements designed to elevate passenger experience. The company has indicated that upgrades will align with global metro standards and green building benchmarks, supporting sustainable urban mobility.

Strategically located along the 17 km ORR Metro corridor from Silk Board to KR Puram, Bellandur Metro Station serves one of India’s largest office micro markets. The corridor connects major technology parks and commercial hubs, catering to thousands of daily commuters across Bengaluru’s IT workforce.

The agreement reflects BMRCL’s broader strategy to strengthen non fare revenue streams while maintaining public ownership and operational control of metro assets. For Prestige Group, the partnership reinforces its commitment to building integrated urban ecosystems where workplace, transit, and connectivity seamlessly converge.

With infrastructure expansion accelerating across Bengaluru, such public private partnerships are expected to play a critical role in shaping the city’s next phase of sustainable growth.
