Larsen & Toubro (L&T), India’s leading engineering and construction giant, has announced that its construction equipment and industrial products design and development vertical has secured a series of significant orders across multiple business segments. The new contracts highlight the company’s strong market presence and its ability to deliver value-driven solutions to diverse industries.

According to the company, its construction equipment business unit has bagged long-term after-sales support orders from major coal and cement producers in India. These contracts involve the supply and maintenance of Komatsu mining equipment, known for their safe design and proven reliability. The orders also include extensions of several existing maintenance agreements, reaffirming the confidence that industrial clients continue to place in L&T’s robust service capabilities.

In addition, the Rubber Processing Machinery business unit has secured multiple orders from leading tyre manufacturers in the country. The scope of these projects covers the design and manufacture of tyre curing presses and tyre building machines. The machinery will cater to the growing demand in the two-wheeler, passenger car, truck, and bus segments, further strengthening L&T’s position as a trusted technology partner in India’s expanding automotive supply chain.

The company also confirmed that L&T Valves has won new contracts for polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) projects from prominent domestic firms. Furthermore, it has been awarded orders by leading EPC companies in Saudi Arabia, underlining L&T’s growing international footprint.

These order wins come on the back of strong financial performance. L&T reported a 30% year-on-year rise in net profit for the June quarter at ₹3,617 crore, with consolidated revenues jumping 16% to ₹63,679 crore. The group’s consolidated order book as of June 30, 2025, stood at ₹6.12 lakh crore, with nearly half contributed by international projects.

With these new contracts, L&T has further strengthened its leadership across mining, industrial machinery, and infrastructure solutions, reinforcing its reputation as one of India’s most diversified and globally trusted engineering majors.
