Interarch Building Solutions Ltd has clinched a ₹45 crore-plus-taxes order from a prominent automobile Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), marking another major win for the steel construction major. The project involves end-to-end design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, and erection, and is expected to be completed within six months.

Although the OEM’s identity is not disclosed because of confidentiality agreements, the transaction brings more than 3,200 metric tonnes of steel on its books, highlighting its strength in executing large, complicated industrial infrastructure orders. The order also consolidates the company’s strong leadership position in India’s pre-engineered building (PEB) segment.

With this victory, Interarch’s order book overall expanded to ₹1,153 crore for FY24, testifying to increasing momentum in domestic business. Repeat orders alone from marquee customers like Grasim Industries and Berger Paints India added ₹1,052 crore—81.39% of the company’s revenues—testifying to high client retention.

Interarch’s share price closed at ₹2,207.35 on June 10, near its 52-week high of ₹2,283.3 and almost double its 52-week low of ₹1,132.15. The company holds a market cap of ₹3,720 crore and a PE ratio of 34.43, indicating solid investor confidence on the back of consistent growth and robust order inflows.

Founded in 1983, Interarch is a key player in turnkey steel construction, ranked third in operating revenue among Indian integrated PEB firms. Its market share increased from 6.1% in FY23 to 6.5% in FY24, bolstered by four vertically integrated plants with a combined annual capacity of 1.41 lakh metric tonnes. Expansion plans in Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat are expected to further fuel growth.

Besides industrial structures, Interarch also offers roofing and ceiling solutions under the TRAC® and TRACDEK® brands. As the infrastructure sector gains traction, the company appears well-positioned to capitalize on India’s growing demand for steel-based construction.
