CREDAI Andhra Pradesh has expressed strong support for the state government’s decision to implement a single window system for building construction and layout approvals. Scheduled for launch on December 31 under Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership, the initiative aims to simplify and streamline the approval process, reducing administrative burdens for developers and stakeholders across the state.

CREDAI Andhra Pradesh Chairman, Alla Siva Reddy, hailed the move as a “game-changer” for the real estate industry. He stated, “This progressive step by the Chief Minister will simplify the approval process, reduce delays, and create a more transparent and efficient environment for development.”

The new system will allow developers to obtain multiple approvals from various departments in one streamlined process. Key approvals, including Vacant Land Tax, NALA, Registration, and Mining Department clearances, will be integrated. Departments like Fire NOC, Airport Authority of India, and Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) will also be part of the system, ensuring a seamless process for construction and layout approvals.

CREDAI Andhra Pradesh President, YV Ramana Rao, highlighted the system’s positive impact on developers. “Previously, developers had to visit multiple departments, which caused delays. With this new single window system, we will face fewer challenges, and the process will be more efficient,” he noted.

General Secretary Bayana Srinivasa Rao emphasized the advantages for developers and stakeholders. He remarked, “This reform will ease the burdens on developers and speed up the approval process, allowing us to focus more on actual construction. It is a much-needed change that will help accelerate growth in Andhra Pradesh.”

CREDAI members also expressed gratitude to Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister P Narayana and IT & HRD Minister Nara Lokesh for their dedicated efforts to resolve long-standing challenges in the real estate sector. “Their commitment has been crucial in making this initiative a reality, and we are confident it will accelerate business and development across the state,” they said.

With the launch of this single window system, Andhra Pradesh is set to enhance the ease of doing business, ensuring a faster, more transparent approval process. This reform is expected to benefit developers and contribute to sustained growth and development throughout the state.
