Hyderabad’s residential market continues to attract large developers as demand for premium housing rises across key micro markets. Brigade Group has announced plans to launch around 8 million square feet of residential projects in Hyderabad, signalling a major expansion push in one of India’s fastest growing real estate destinations.

The company is targeting the premium housing segment with ticket sizes ranging between ₹4 crore and ₹5.5 crore, particularly in emerging locations such as Neopolis and Secunderabad. According to Amar Mysore, Executive Director of Brigade Enterprises, the planned developments form part of a broader strategy to strengthen the company’s long term presence in the city.

Brigade recently acquired a 4.03 acre land parcel in Hyderabad for nearly ₹500 crore, underlining its confidence in the city’s real estate growth story. The group plans to invest more than ₹5,000 crore over the next three to four years across residential, commercial, retail and hospitality projects.

A key highlight of the expansion is the Brigade Gateway Hyderabad mixed use development that is currently under construction. The project includes residential towers, a commercial office component and a large retail destination in the form of Orion Mall.

Construction progress at the site has been steady with basement works for the residential towers already completed. Market response has also been encouraging with more than sixty percent of the residential inventory reportedly sold during the early phase of the launch.

Beyond housing, Brigade is also strengthening its presence in Hyderabad’s retail, office and hospitality sectors. The company is developing a 6.5 lakh square feet Orion Mall while also planning to expand its flexible workspace brand Buzzworks as demand from Global Capability Centres continues to rise.

The group is also entering the luxury hospitality segment with plans for a 300 key InterContinental hotel, reflecting Hyderabad’s growing appeal as a business and tourism hub. With strong demand across multiple asset classes, the city is emerging as a major growth engine for Brigade Group.

Industry experts believe the company’s aggressive pipeline in Hyderabad highlights the city’s strong fundamentals, improving infrastructure and sustained interest from premium homebuyers and institutional investors across upcoming projects.
