Adani Cement, via its subsidiaries Ambuja Cements and ACC, is actively contributing to building India’s infrastructure industry by upscaling civil engineers and architects through the Executive Excellence Programme (EEP). More than 2,000 professionals have been trained since 2020 when the EEP began, and 175 have completed the programme in 2024 alone.
The EEP is a short-term residential training program that strikes a balance between intense academic study and practical, real-world application. Its curriculum emphasizes advanced asset management, sustainable construction practices, and the most recent emerging technologies, offering participants nationally recognized certifications that maximize their professional abilities.
Originally designed and rolled out with the collaboration of IIT Kanpur and IIT Gandhinagar, the most recent versions of the program have been rolled out at IISc Bangalore. The collaboration with the best institutes guarantees quality training by industry requirements.
EEP integration within the Skill India initiative and Manthan platform — led by the Office of the Principal Scientific Advisor — is a testament to its increasing importance on the national skill development horizon. The program promotes peer-to-peer learning and collaboration, developing a community of infrastructure leaders poised to lead India’s infrastructure revolution.
Ahead, IIT Madras is in discussions to host subsequent EEP sessions, further expanding the program’s academic and geographical scope.
By supporting the Executive Excellence Programme, Adani Cement is establishing a new industry benchmark for skill development, affirming its focus on creating a more skilled, self-sufficient infrastructure workforce and playing its part in India’s nation-building initiative.
