Adani Cement has announced a strategic partnership with the National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) aimed at supporting India’s rapidly expanding housing and infrastructure sector. The collaboration aligns with the broader vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, which focuses on strengthening the country’s development ecosystem through sustainable growth and modern construction practices.

The partnership brings together Adani Cement’s strong building materials portfolio, technical expertise and research capabilities with NAREDCO’s extensive network of more than 15,000 member organisations across the real estate sector. Through this collaboration, both organisations plan to work closely to improve construction quality, promote sustainable materials and enhance skill development within the industry.

A key focus of the initiative will be strengthening workforce skills across the construction value chain. The partnership will introduce certification programmes for masons and contractors while also conducting structured training modules for site supervisors from NAREDCO member organisations. These programmes are expected to improve on-site execution standards, strengthen quality control and ensure better project delivery across residential and infrastructure developments.

In addition to workforce development, the collaboration will also encourage the adoption of modern construction technologies and environmentally responsible building materials. The partners aim to promote integrated building solutions including ready mix concrete, along with innovative construction methods that improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

Adani Cement and NAREDCO will also explore opportunities to support affordable housing initiatives across India, a sector that continues to witness strong demand as urbanisation accelerates across major cities and emerging urban centres.

Vinod Bahety, CEO of the Cement Business at Adani Group, said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to nation building and creating an ecosystem where quality, innovation and sustainability become central to every construction project. He added that by working closely with developers through NAREDCO’s network, the company aims to provide advanced materials, technical support and structured knowledge platforms that improve performance throughout the project lifecycle.

NAREDCO Chairman Dr Niranjan Hiranandani said the collaboration will encourage responsible construction practices while promoting the adoption of green building norms across India’s growing urban landscape.
