The Telangana government has approved a major urban infrastructure project worth ₹384.45 crore in Cyberabad, marking another significant step in strengthening road connectivity and easing traffic congestion in one of the state’s fastest-growing urban zones.

The project includes the construction of a six-lane bi-directional flyover along with two uni-directional underpasses across the busy Miyapur, Allwyn X Roads, Hafeezpet and Bachupally corridors. These stretches have been witnessing increasing traffic volumes due to rapid residential and commercial development in recent years.

According to official approvals, the work has been awarded to M/s Shivasatya Engineering Services Private Limited, which emerged as the lowest bidder during the tendering process. The contract will be executed under the Engineering Procurement Construction mode on a turnkey basis, ensuring faster implementation and integrated project delivery.

As part of the approved works, the six-lane flyover will connect Miyapur X Road and Allwyn X Road, creating a smoother traffic flow for commuters moving through one of the busiest stretches in Cyberabad. In addition, a three-lane underpass from Hafeezpet to Miyapur and another three-lane underpass from Bachupally to Allwyn X Roads are planned to reduce signal delays and decongest junction traffic.

The state government had earlier granted an administrative sanction of ₹530 crore under the H-CITI initiative, which focuses on upgrading urban mobility infrastructure. Authorities have also initiated land acquisition and utility shifting works simultaneously to prevent project delays and accelerate execution timelines.

The project is expected to significantly improve traffic movement, reduce travel time, and support the growing infrastructure needs of Cyberabad’s residential, IT and commercial hubs. With rapid urban expansion in the region, such road projects are becoming critical for sustainable city mobility and long-term real estate growth.
