India’s construction sector is set to witness a significant boost in workforce capability as the  has entered into a strategic partnership with . The collaboration aims to strengthen skill development across the country by focusing on structured training and certification programmes for key stakeholders in the industry.

This initiative will benefit civil engineers, contractors, ready mix concrete professionals, construction workers, and masons. With the growing demand for quality infrastructure and housing across India, the need for a skilled workforce has become more critical than ever. This partnership is designed to address that gap by equipping professionals with practical knowledge and technical expertise.

The training programmes will cover essential areas such as material quality testing, concrete mix proportioning, durability of structures, and sustainable construction practices. These aspects are crucial in ensuring long lasting and efficient infrastructure development. According to L P Singh, Director General of NCB Ballabgarh campus, the collaboration is expected to play a key role in capacity building within the sector. He expressed confidence that a large number of professionals and workers will be trained over the next three to five years, creating a stronger and more capable construction ecosystem.

This partnership also aligns with the Government of India’s Skill India Mission, which focuses on empowering the workforce with industry relevant skills. As infrastructure development continues to accelerate, such collaborations are expected to support the sector with a steady pipeline of trained professionals.
