Brigade Enterprises has taken another step in expanding its residential portfolio with the acquisition of a 2.25-acre land parcel in Secunderabad, signalling continued confidence in the Hyderabad metropolitan housing market. The company confirmed the land purchase through a regulatory filing, stating that the agreement has been executed, although the acquisition cost was not disclosed.

The upcoming project is expected to be a residential development with an estimated gross development value of around Rs 650 crore. With this acquisition, Brigade aims to strengthen its presence in high-demand urban markets where housing absorption remains steady, supported by employment growth, infrastructure upgrades and sustained end-user demand.

Secunderabad has emerged as an attractive residential destination due to its connectivity, proximity to employment hubs and established social infrastructure. Developers have increasingly focused on this micro-market as homebuyers look for well-planned communities that offer access to workplaces, transport corridors and daily conveniences. Brigade’s entry into this location aligns with its strategy of targeting mature yet growth-oriented urban pockets.

Founded in 1986, Brigade Enterprises has built a diversified real estate portfolio spanning residential, commercial, retail and mixed-use developments. Over the years, the company has developed landmark projects across Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kochi, establishing a strong brand presence in southern India. The Secunderabad project is expected to complement Brigade’s existing developments in the Hyderabad region.

The company stated that the new housing project carries strong revenue potential and will add depth to its residential pipeline. While detailed project specifications are yet to be announced, the development is likely to cater to mid and premium housing segments, reflecting prevailing demand trends in the city.

Industry observers note that branded developers continue to expand selectively, focusing on projects with clear market visibility and scalable demand. Brigade’s latest acquisition underscores its long-term growth approach, combining land banking discipline with market-led project planning. As construction timelines and launch details emerge, the Secunderabad project is expected to contribute meaningfully to Brigade Enterprises’ revenue growth in the coming years.
