L&T Bags Major Contracts for Residential Towers in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai

Indian conglomerate Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has won significant contracts for the construction of residential towers in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai. The projects will be handled by L&T’s Buildings and Factories division, which has earned a reputation for efficiently and timely delivering large-scale infrastructure.

The company defines a ‘significant order’ as an order worth between ₹1,000 crore and ₹2,500 crore, and so it falls in a significant bracket with the new contracts. Apart from these new orders, L&T has been awarded several add-on orders to its ongoing projects, emphasizing its stronghold in the market.

L&T was known to bag large infrastructure orders due to its project execution capabilities and has maintained steady biddings, a senior official said. Armed with strong execution capabilities and being a preferred partner for real estate players, the company continues to win large-scale projects.

Larsen & Toubro is a $27-billion Indian multinational firm that conducts business in more than 50 countries, focusing on EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction projects), high-tech manufacturing, and high-tech services.
