TVS ILP Invests ₹250 Crore in Grade-A Industrial and Logistics Park at Visakhapatnam

TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP), a part of the TVS Mobility Group, has announced a major investment of approximately ₹250 crore to establish a state-of-the-art Grade-A industrial and logistics park spread across 17 acres in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. This marks another key milestone in TVS ILP’s ambitious expansion strategy to strengthen its pan-India network of world-class industrial and logistics infrastructure.

Strategically positioned just 21 km from Vizag Airport, 28 km from Vizag Railway Station, and 32 km from Vizag Port, the facility enjoys seamless access to the Chennai–Kolkata Highway. The location advantage offers excellent connectivity for businesses seeking efficient supply chain and distribution solutions along India’s eastern industrial corridor. The land for the project was allocated by the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd (APIIC), which expedited the acquisition and approval process to support industrial growth in the region.

The project is being developed in multiple phases, with over 4 lakh sq. ft. of ready-to-move-in space already completed. The upcoming built-to-suit (BTS) facilities are designed to cater to sectors such as pharmaceuticals, automobiles, electronics, manufacturing, 3PL logistics, and seafood processing—industries that have been rapidly expanding in the region due to Visakhapatnam’s port-driven economy.

Once fully operational, the industrial and logistics park is expected to generate more than 1,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities, boosting the local economy and strengthening Visakhapatnam’s position as a major logistics hub on India’s east coast.

According to Aditi Kumar, Joint Managing Director of TVS ILP, Visakhapatnam’s strategic location along the Bay of Bengal makes it a natural gateway for trade with Southeast Asia and other international markets. She emphasized that the new park has been designed to leverage this connectivity and serve as a foundation for high-growth industries.

With major infrastructure upgrades such as the upcoming Bogapuram International Airport and enhanced connectivity along the Chennai–Kolkata corridor, Visakhapatnam is emerging as a preferred destination for industrial and logistics investments. TVS ILP’s latest project is expected to play a pivotal role in transforming the region’s warehousing and supply chain ecosystem.
