Successor of heritage paint producer Shalimar Paints has been honored as one of the Most Trusted Brands of India for 2025-26, solidifying its leadership position in the Indian paint industry. The award was conferred at the 5th edition of the Most Trusted Brands of India event, organized by Team Marksmen.

Found over 120 years ago, Shalimar Paints is among the top 10 Indian paint companies and has remained agile by responding to changing customer requirements. The company has recently launched its “Shalimar 2.0” strategy that aims to bridge tradition with innovation by redeploying product portfolios with a modern twist, digitization, and improved customer experience.

Over the past year, the company has introduced 10 new products in the decorative segment and 30 in the industrial paints business, showcasing its commitment to product development and leadership. Its paint has adorned legendary Indian structures like the Howrah Bridge, Rashtrapati Bhavan, and Vidyasagar Setu.

Such recognition is a testament to the faith our customers repose in our brand,” stated Kuldip Raina, Director, Shalimar Paints. “We are taking our legacy forward with new energy and commitment towards green, high-performance products supported by robust R&D.

Company’s dealer network continues to be a success driver, acting as an important link between the brand and ultimate consumers. Shalimar’s growing portfolio focuses on sustainability, durability, and aesthetics in response to growing consumer demand for eco-friendly and long-lasting products.

The acknowledgment comes at a time when brand integrity and consumer confidence are increasingly being questioned. Most Trusted Brands identify companies that have not only been consistent but also influenced change through generations by remaining open and creative.

With a new focus on green practices, new technology, and customer-centric design, Shalimar Paints will transform spaces in India—merging tradition with the demand of a modern market.
