Godrej Properties Ltd, for its last residential launch in Hyderabad, has reported high sales figures, as bookings for 683 homes yielded an over ₹1,000 crore sales figure within weeks.

The company said the sales emanated from its latest project, Godrej Regal Pavilion, launched at Rajendra Nagar. This launch saw home buyers purchase a total of 683 housing units covering 1.20 million sq. ft. within the first few days of launch early this month.

The project includes a total developable area of 4.14 million sq. ft. with an estimated revenue potential of ₹3,600 crore. The company asserted that a strong response underlines housing demand growth in Hyderabad and growing consumer preference for established developers.

Gaurav Pandey, Managing Director and CEO, Godrej Properties, commented about the development, saying: “This outcome showcases a person’s preference for trusted, branded residences and the fantastic potential of Hyderabad.”

The developer said to have its headquarters in Mumbai, has strengthened its presence in Hyderabad virtue acquisitions made in land parcels. Recently, it acquired 7.82 acres in the city through a public auction for ₹548 crore. This parcel is expected to generate revenue potential of about ₹3,800 crore once developed.

Godrej Properties is one of the diversified branches of the group known as the Godrej Group, which has a real estate business. Since it is among the big names in real estate development in India, it is marketed at all the major metros, including Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, and Hyderabad. Recently, it has also started targeting tier-II cities by venturing into big-format residential projects and plotted developments.

The company has been working to develop quite aggressively on its growth strategy, ranging from outright acquisition of land parcels to joint ventures with landowners. Hyderabad has attracted a lot of attention for being the upcoming mega hub for technology and financial services, and these developers seek out this new nation’s best market for developing demands, both premium and mid-range housing.

For Godrej Properties, Godrej Regal Pavilion is going to complement its growth push forward. The quick sell-off of stock worth ₹1,000 crore reflects sustained homebuyer demand, but it also translates into recognition of the company’s ability to crack high-growth markets.
