
Chief Minister MK Stalin on Wednesday announced the setting up of a new SIPCOT industrial park in Chengalpattu district to promote industries in the sector. His visit to the district on Tuesday also included the inauguration of various completed projects and the laying of foundation stones for new development initiatives.
Spread over 800 acres in Cheyyur, the new industrial park will be a game changer in bolstering the district’s industrial ecosystem. At the presentation of the initiative, Stalin also commented on what progress the government was trying to make through such initiatives on behalf of the state.
The Chief Minister also attended welfare distribution initiatives during the visit. In a symbolic act, he also handed over a motorcycle to a differently-abled beneficiary, indicating the state’s continued reach within the marginalized communities.
Stalin also reviewed several welfare schemes and development projects undertaken in the district. The government has already been working hard to improve infrastructure create jobs and raise the living standards of the local people.
Factory Chanters should bring investments to the SIPCOT park, create jobs and spur the economy of Cheyyur It is in line with Tamil Nadu’s industrial development strategy which intends to place the state as one of the most-preferred investment destinations.
Chengalpattu will see renewed job creation through industrial activity under this initiative.
