In a similar development, Brigade Enterprises, a Bengaluru-based real estate company has bought a 4.4-acre land parcel in the Whitefield area which is a major residential and IT hub for developing a premium housing project. Spread across approximately 6 lakh sq ft, the development is likely to generate a revenue of about ₹950 crore.
The acquisition is in line with Brigade’s objective of scaling its residential portfolio in strategic urban markets. Therefore, with the upward pressure on demand for good quality housing, the company has devoted attention to the Bengaluru real estate sector.
Brigade Enterprises is involved in the development and leasing of integrated lifestyle communities with a diversified portfolio of residential, commercial, retail and hospitality assets. This new project closely follows its launch of a rupee 2,700 crore housing development in the city, establishing its position in this sector.
While Bengaluru’s real estate market is in an upward slide with minimum established micro-markets like Whitefield burgeoning and offering steady growth, the project is expected to act as a magnet for homebuyers looking for an investment option in premium residences in a well-established locality with ample connectivity.
