Birla Opus Paints, part of Aditya Birla Group’s Grasim Industries, has launched‘Birla Opus Assurance,’ an idea never attempted before in the Indian decorative paints market. Under this campaign, customers get a one-year repainting warranty, covering performance under all weather-tested conditions. This is a bold step in reiterating the company’s confidence in its products and focus on customer satisfaction.

According to the warranty, walls painted with Birla Opus paints will withstand whatever climate variations exist across India, having been tested across all four seasons. The company feels that offering this year-long refurbishment guarantee gives the paint brand an edge and integrity, unlike many others in the heavily competitive sector dominated by veterans.

Bollywood divas Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna continue their association with the company as ambassadors for the campaign. The new television commercials will feature actors Ranveer Shorey, Murali Sharma, Seema Pahwa, and Jaaved Jaaferi in separate storylines that relate to the consumer through humor.

Birla Opus Paints CEO Rakshit Hargave elaborated that the move dispels the consumer doubts on durability and value. We understand that painting homes is a significant decision for consumers, and ‘Birla Opus Assurance’ is our way of providing complete peace of mind. This further reinforces our commitment to being a truly consumer-centric brand,” he disclosed.

Inderpreet Singh, Marketing Head, felt that the films combine reassurance with lighthearted narratives. Through Birla Opus Assurance, we are building a brand that delivers on its promise, while Vicky and Rashmika bring a sense of freshness and credibility to the messaging,” he affirmed.

On the creative side, Sachin Kamble, Chief Creative Officer at Leo – South Asia, explained that the campaign draws on a mindset that is inherently Indian: search for value and trust. The films aim to portray how Birla Opus responds, confidently, to actual consumer concerns, with perspectives from dealers, contractors, and architects.

Nationwide, ‘Birla Opus Assurance’ is getting launched in Hindi and major regional languages across TV, digital, and print media. With its industry-first guarantee, Birla Opus is expected to further strengthen consumer confidence and subsequently push the trial in the fast-growing paints market in India.
