Chennai-based AVP Infracon Limited, a fast-growing infrastructure company, has added another milestone to its portfolio by securing projects worth Rs 78.75 crore across Tamil Nadu. The new orders underline the company’s consistent performance and growing reputation in the state’s infrastructure development sector.
The largest of these projects is the Thiruvannamalai–Thiyagadurgam four-lane road upgrade, valued at Rs 57.57 crore. Awarded by the Superintending Engineer, Highways (C&M), Thiruvannamalai, the project involves widening the stretch from two lanes to four, along with strengthening existing roads, constructing retaining walls, improving junctions, and rebuilding minor bridges and culverts. The project is expected to be completed within 12 months, significantly improving road connectivity and traffic flow in the region.
In addition to the highway project, AVP Infracon has secured two significant contracts under the Reliance Mappedu Multi-Modal Logistics Park (MMLP) development — one worth Rs 12.77 crore and another worth Rs 8.41 crore. These industrial infrastructure works are aligned with Tamil Nadu’s focus on creating robust logistics networks to support manufacturing, warehousing, and industrial expansion around Chennai and its adjoining districts.
Founded in 2009, AVP Infracon Limited has evolved from a mid-sized construction firm into a leading player specializing in roads, highways, bridges, flyovers, and irrigation projects under EPC and BOQ models. Over the years, the company has diversified into urban development, undertaking projects such as hospitals, hotels, warehouses, and residential and commercial buildings across Tamil Nadu.
With an unexecuted order book of around Rs 400 crore, the company aims to scale it to Rs 700–800 crore by FY25-end, reflecting strong demand and efficient project execution capabilities. Its recent order wins reaffirm AVP Infracon’s role in advancing sustainable, high-speed connectivity and industrial growth across the state.
By combining engineering expertise, on-time delivery, and a focus on regional development, AVP Infracon continues to strengthen its position as a trusted name in Tamil Nadu’s infrastructure landscape.
